'Through the Fire' tells the story of recovering drug addict Luis DeJesus, who is trying to stay clean while coming to terms with a family where abuse and neglect stretch back generations.

'Through the Fire’ premiered at DOC NYC in 2015, and went onto win awards at Atlanta International Film Festival, featured at L-Dub Film Festival and won the Platinum Award of the Spotlight Documentary Film Awards before making its global broadcast premiere on BBC World News.
